Tips

  1. On your resume include all your past and current positions.

  2. In greeting a prospective employer your hand shake should be firm but not a death grip.

  3. Remember to smile.

  4. During the greeting and interview make sure you have good eye contact.

  5. During the interview watch your body language, which means; sit up straight and keep your hands under control.

  6. Do not chew gum, play with their business card or act like Ringo Starr with a pencil or pen during the interview.

  7. Don't control the interview with long, drawn out answers.

  8. Prior to the interview check your nose and your teeth in a mirror to ensure last night's French fries aren't hanging around.

  9. Tailor your cover letter to each position you are making application to.

  10. Remember to thank the interviewer for their time at the end of the interview.
